A little about me... Born in Zimbabwe and raised in South Africa from the age of 14, I moved to Australia with my young family in 2001. I am a self taught photographer, whose 'thing' growing up, was always photography. My interest was fuelled at a young age by my Beloved Late Dad, who was an avid photographer himself.
I have a fresh approach to portraiture, which is natural and uncluttered. I love to fill the frame of my camera with the faces of my subjects, making them the centrepiece. Strong, clean close-ups shot at different angles with shallow depth of field are what I love.
I enjoy the challenge of candid photography and work hard to capture the spirit of your child., not their likeness, but their personality, toothy smiles and all! The informality of my sessions puts my subjects at ease, and we always make time for a snack, drink or change, particularly with the littlies.
